Tennessee

On the map.

Amazing view! Mississippi river.

I read a lot of information about Tennesse and can say definatly that it is located in the south part of United States. Tennessee is bordered by Mississippi, on the south. The geographic center of the state is in Rutherford County. What was interesting for me is that  most of caves in the United States can be found in Tennessee; there are over 8,350 caves registered in the state. The state is geographically divided into three Grand Divisions: East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and West Tennessee. What is interesting? There are twenty-three state parks, covering some 132,000 acres as well as parts of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee National Forest, and Cumberland Gap National Historical Park are in Tennessee. Sportsmen and visitors are attracted to Reelfoot Lake

Furthermore, the state also has many sites of historic interest, including the Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson; the Andrew Johnson National Historic Site; Shiloh National Military Park and a big number of others exciting places.
